Art Imitates Life...Beyonce-style!

Welp.  All along we've been preaching that music can be an effective antidote to employee disengagement.   And then along comes some lady named Beyonce.  According to Yahoo!Entertainment: 

• Beyoncé's latest single, "Break My Soul," is being hailed online as a Great Resignation anthem.

• With lyrics about worker burnout, the dance track calls on listeners to "release your job."

• Many social media users have quipped that they would quit their jobs now that Beyoncé said so.

"I just quit my job/ I'm gonna find new drive/ Damn they work me so damn hard/ Work by nine/ Then off past five/ And they work my nerves/ That's why I cannot sleep at night," she sings on the track that was released on Monday.

We promise our In-Tune Teambuilding musical experts are not rehearsing, planning to teach your team this new hit.  But her words ring true, and reinforces our concept.  Music brings us together.  Music makes us smile.  Even the sometimes (intentionally) challenging process of learning to play it, together, with your coworkers.  But that shared experience builds empathy and enhances trust.  Your coworkers and employees  will soon forget this silly "break my soul" anthem.
